John Bowe Driving Instructors Excel in Townsville

John Bowe Driving Instructors David Reynolds, Daniel Gaunt, Chris Pither, and Tim Blanchard all put in stellar performances in their individual categories last weekend in Townsville.

David Reynolds in a Kelly Brothers Racing Commodore is now showing awesome speed in qualifying 8th in Race 14 and a superb 3rd in Race 15th to out qualify his illustrious team mates Rick and Todd Kelly! Unfortunately due to mechanical woes including a serious malfunction of his cool suit left him languishing well down in final race results.

Daniel Gaunt had a fantastic result, after qualifying 3rd he then completely blitzed the field winning races 1, 2, and 3. Daniel is now lying 3rd in the series with 401 points, 42 points behind series leader, and fellow Kiwi Jenny Reid.

Chris Pither, (another Kiwi) also had a fabulous weekend qualifying 2nd, he came 6th in Race1 and then fought back with 2 wins in the next 2 races. Chris leads the Championship in a tight battle with Grant Johnson 497 to 493!

Tim Blanchard had an up and down weekend. Tim qualified 10 finished 9th in Race 1 he responded with a sensational win in Race 2, and then finished 11th in Race 3.

Tim is currently running 5th in the Championship.
